Joost is driven to find a solution for every challenge and to get people on board with his enthusiasm. He always looks for the combination of a clear vision and strategy with an actual realisation through a clear approach. Because of his broad experience, he is able to look beyond functions and departments and thus take an integrated view of a problem.
Outside of work, he spends his time with his young family, has a passion for fine food products such as beer and wine, and plays an active role in his tennis club, both on and off the court. Joost studied Technical Business Administration at the Technical University of Eindhoven and then worked for Capgemini Consulting in the area of Supply Chain and Procurement. He then started working for Heineken where he fulfilled various commercial roles. He started as global category buyer marketing and then managed the global roll-out of cider in Asia and Europe. In his last role, he was responsible for Jumbo within the soft drink supplier Vrumona.
