(Senior) Business Associate with expertise Finance

Your role
As a (Senior) Business Associate, you have an important role in impactful strategy and business projects. You use your financial knowledge and skills to arrive at a well-founded business strategy with the client, prepare a realistic business case for a crucial investment or get to the bottom of a special management or restructuring project.
You know how to come up with creative solutions by combining your experience with the situation you find yourself in. Within Gwynt you draw up business plans, make (cash flow) forecasts and are able to produce clear reports. You will also make liquidity forecasts for capital providers.

In summary, we are looking for someone who identifies with the description below:
- You have a considerable amount of knowledge and work experience within (business) controlling, commercial finance and financial reporting in leading companies within the food, retail or manufacturing industry
- It is an advantage if you have experience in consulting, or at least the ambition to develop consulting skills. You have demonstrable experience in supervising or contributing to complex (change) projects or business improvements, performance analysis (both financial and non-financial), drafting advice and improvement opportunities, contributing to strategy, business plans and business cases
- You create clear and accurate reports, dashboards and presentations
Furthermore, you have:
- A college-level education, field of study preferably in business economics, business administration or accountancy
- Demonstrated experience with financial planning (forecasting), corporate finance, reporting and processes
- Experience with setting up AO/IC or implementation of ERP packages
- Experience with financial turnaround of loss-making operations or restructuring
- Experience with investment companies, venture capital and banks
- A professional attitude and excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written (Dutch and English)
- Ability to position yourself clearly and deal with resistance
