Senior Business Associate Food
Expertise Operations
Gwynt is the consulting firm for the larger entrepreneurial (family) businesses in retail, wholesale, food and manufacturing. Our clients are the owner or management of the company (family or private equity): we are a strategic sparring partner in this when a breakthrough is needed.
We understand the dynamics of the family business like no other and combine our market knowledge with substantive expertise and change power. As a result, our clients achieve lasting results, growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
The combination of hard (strategy, processes, content, project management) and soft (behavior, management, change management) is an important starting point. Our approach is pragmatic and is not limited to providing advice alone; achieving results is paramount. In some cases, this means our staff temporarily filling interim positions to accelerate the change process.
Your role
As a Senior Business Associate, you will have a leading role in strategic projects for companies operating in the food chain. Consider production of raw materials, ingredients, private label and brands. Within this role, the focus will be on complex operational issues. Here you can think of projects aimed at improving and perpetuating the current performance or just anticipating the future and/or further (international) expansion.
You combine up-to-date market knowledge with relevant subject matter expertise and change power within the chain of food companies. As an experienced professional, you will advise food companies through a keen vision of their operational activities and roadmap for the coming years. In it, of course, topics such as operational excellence, capacity, flexibility, make-or-buy, technology (mechanization, robotization and AI) and sustainability are central. You will also frequently encounter projects in the area of Supply Chain Management: for example, you will work on determining and translating a new strategy into concrete plans in areas such as logistics, network planning, S&OP and inventory control.
You will develop strategy with and for our clients and turn it into concrete plans. You lead complex projects independently, taking an active role in project, program and change management. You use your own analytical skills to develop and implement realistic and creative solution directions.
A Senior Business Associate also helps build the continued growth of Gwynt. With your vision, network and enthusiasm, you enjoy developing existing and new clients.
What do we expect from you?
It is important to us that you make an impact with our clients and that you fit in with our organization and our team. Teamwork, empathy, result-driven, analytical thinking, people-oriented, pragmatism, ambition and eagerness to learn are some of the aspects we value highly. In your daily actions, you are an example to others.
In summary, we are looking for someone who identifies with the description below:
- At least 5 years of working experience at (operational) strategic level with food manufacturers.
