Your role at Gwynt

Within Gwynt, you are the trigger when it comes to discrete manufacturing and the (high-tech) manufacturing industry. With your vision, commercial drive and network, you will develop opportunities with new and existing clients.

You have a leading role in impactful transformation projects that you execute together with your colleagues at our clients in the (high-tech) industry.
You combine vision and market knowledge with content expertise and change power in the chain of manufacturing companies to make the difference at our client.
You develop new strategy and translate this into concrete plans. You lead complex projects independently and have an active role in project, program and change management.

Transformation projects often start with a quick scan and it is important at this stage to get to the core quickly. You do this by means of pragmatic analyses, but also by connecting with the management and employees of our clients and drawing up a customized change program.

Then, for a number of months, you will work on one or more work streams within the transformation project.
For example, you will work on Strategy, New Product Development & Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, Supplier Management or Portfolio Management) and build strong relationships with the company’s employees.

What does your workday look like?

No two days are the same.
One day you work with teams on the shop floor to achieve a culture of operational excellence, the next day you sit at the table with the board of another company to spar about the strategic direction.
All to achieve lasting results and a culture of continuous improvement at our client.

You have:

  • Proven experience in managing complex improvement or transformation projects within the manufacturing industry (at the strategic level)
  • A passion for (discrete) manufacturing and the manufacturing industry and you follow the trends around mechatronics, robotics/AI, 3D printing, internet of things
  • A vision of developments within the manufacturing industry and would like to share it
  • At least 10 years of experience within (discrete) manufacturing with program management and innovation projects in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain management, supplier management and/or technology (R&D)
  • an education at the academic level, preferably technical business administration, mechanical engineering or another relevant (technical) study
  • perhaps already have experience in consulting, or you have aspirations to develop consulting skills

An annual salary between €85,000 and €110,000 gross incl.
