Bas is both strategically and analytically strong, and because of his broad experience also has a strong focus on practical implementation. In his spare time, he spends a lot of time with his family of three children and is always on the lookout for new music and great places for a brisk bike ride or hike or just a nice bite to eat. Bas grew up in supermarkets and, after completing his studies in Econometrics at Tilburg University, spent the first ten years working in various commercial positions within retail organizations such as Jumbo Supermarkets and Impact Retail. After this, he gained extensive consulting experience in market research and advice for food organizations.
