Within a dynamic production environment for fresh meals and meat products, there was a growing need for more structure, standardization and direction. The strong interdependencies between departments and the complexity of the operation made it increasingly challenging to manage performance consistently. The ambition was to further professionalize the organization and get a better grip on cooperation, efficiency and operational results.
We started with a thorough analysis of the operation, translating bottlenecks directly into concrete improvement initiatives. In parallel, we strengthened the basis for steering and cooperation by setting up and supervising day start-ups and consultation structures within and between departments. With the establishment of KPI boards, dashboards and reports, insight was created into performance and deviations. We also focused on improving prioritization, fault tracking and maintenance, working closely with the technical department.
The result is an organization that has a visibly better grip on day-to-day operations. There is more structure in consultation and decision-making, with a clear movement towards KPI-driven work. Departments cooperate better and follow-up is more sharply organized. At the same time, the insight into performance and deviations has greatly increased, allowing faster and more targeted adjustments. This has laid a firm foundation for further standardization, efficiency and sustainable improvement within the operation.
