A leading supplier of building materials for finishing and technical insulation, active in the Benelux with several web shops and brands, saw that its digital proposition was lagging behind its growth ambitions. Despite a strong position among craftsmen and a broad reach through online and physical channels, fragmented systems, outdated content and limited commercial clout were causing missed opportunities in e-commerce. The ambition was to strengthen the digital foundation in order to return to growth and added value.
Together, we first sharpened the online ambition and commercial direction. From there the basis of the digital landscape was rebuilt, with a focus on the webshop experience, performance and data-driven steering. The website was redesigned, product content structured and enriched using AI, and the customer process renewed with integrations between systems such as KvK and TopDesk. At the same time, marketing automation was set up, including segmentation and tool selection, to serve customers in a more targeted and effective way.
The result is a future-proof digital foundation on which to build further growth. The organization has a renewed webshop with a strong focus on user experience and branding, supported by uniform categories and enriched product content. With working analytics and clear e-commerce KPIs, performance can be actively managed, while the streamlined customer process and the use of marketing automation ensure greater efficiency and scalability. This lays the foundation for sustainable digital growth.
