He is also described as an flip-thinker, bridge builder, team player and fixer.

After studying International Business at Tilburg University, Pieter has fulfilled various roles in purchasing, sales, trade marketing and category management at Jumbo, Campofrio, Kimberly-Clark and Superunie. Besides his work, he spends a lot of time with his family, listening to music and sports.
