We start with a sharp internal and external analysis. 

From the organization (insideout) and from the market and trends (outsidein) we build a shared picture of qualities, bottlenecks and opportunities. Inspiration from inside and outside the sector helps to break existing patterns of thinking.  

Dot on the horizon

Based on the insights, together we determine the dot on the horizon: a clear and supported picture of the future from both the (family) shareholders, management and MT that gives direction to choices for the coming years.

Strategic development themes & options

From a joint assessment, a number of strategic options are analyzed and ultimately worked toward one preferred option. Within this, we translate the ambition into strategic development themes, divided into two streams:

  • Building the future – new initiatives and revenue models
  • Getting the basics right – preconditions for successful implementation

Strategic program and roadmap

Finally, we put the strategy into practice through financial math, prioritization and phasing. Everything comes together in a strategic program with clear initiatives, KPIs and a roadmap for realization – which will be periodically recalibrated as reality changes.
